Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck
'Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck' is a segment on HBO's Sesame Street program where Cookie Monster and his friend, Gonger, operate a food truck. They receive calls from children requesting specific dishes, which they then prepare by sourcing ingredients and showing how the food is made, blending education with fun to teach children about healthy eating and cooking.
I contributed to two episodes of 'Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck' (Season 52, Episode 3, and Season 53, Episode 23), a Sesame Street segment promoting culinary diversity and nutrition. My responsibilities included coordinating with the Director and Cinematographer to produce on-location packages, recording all field audio and dialogue, and handling color grading and video editing to meet HBO broadcasting standards. I selected the best takes and b-roll, ensuring high-quality, engaging content for young viewers.
The Silver Spur
I produced this video for the San Antonio Spurs and the McNay Art Museum, featuring the Silver Spur, a resto-mod Camaro built as a tribute to the Spurs team and used to raise money for charity. The car is adorned with Spurs logos and history, including a section of the Spurs' former court inlaid in the trunk. For this project, I interviewed the car owner and shot detailed close-ups and b-roll of the vehicle. The resulting video was aired live during one of the Spurs' home games and broadcast nationally as well.
Mission Solar
A light-hearted commercial project targeted at showcasing the durability of Mission Solar’s panels. For this project, I supported the creative team in storyboarding the basic layout and approach to the commercial. We hired a professional grip truck and cinematographer. I helped capture field sound and dialogue while also acting as a quiet scientist in background scenes.
Gardopia Gardens - Fundraiser
This was a fundraising video I produced for Gardopia Gardens. Gardopia is a non-profit in San Antonio that aims to reduce obesity and malnutrition by increasing accessibility to fresh produce and implementing strategic intervention programming in schools, businesses, and community organizations.
Wayne Thiebaud 100
This is a digital ad that I produced for the traveling exhibition Wayne Thiebaud 100: Paintings, Prints, and Drawings. For this ad I had minimal assets. I was given access to a few images of Thiebaud’s work that had been cleared for advertising along with a few lines of text and was asked to produce a 55 second video. I used simple animation techniques to move through the paintings and colorful backgrounds to animate the logos and and text over.
Square 1: Bi-lingual Cooking Series
A series of bi-lingual videos instructing how to cook healthier versions of some of San Antonian's favorite foods. Was produced for the City of San Antonio Metro Health Dept and the FitCitySA.com campaign in 2014.
